  1. COOKIES

    Cookies are code fragments that are text files corresponding to HTTP requests directed to our server. These files are saved by each browser from which the User visits our Service. Thanks to the information contained in cookies, we know how Users use our Service.

    Cookies help us ensure optimal service during the User’s visit to the Service and enable faster and easier access to information, as well as to offer the User increasingly better Service functionalities and content better tailored to the User.

  2. TYPES AND PURPOSES OF USING COOKIES

    We use cookies and other similar technologies to recognize Users during their visits to our Service, remember their preferences, and display appropriate, customized content to them. Thanks to cookies, User interactions with us are faster and more effective. Additionally, cookies allow us to present tailored content to the User without the need for surveys.

    Two types of cookies are used in the Service:
    • Session cookies – these are temporary files that remain on the User’s device until they leave the Service or close the web browser. In such cases, information saved in session cookies is automatically deleted.

    • Permanent cookies – these are files that remain on the User’s device for a period specified in the cookie parameters or until manually deleted.

    In the Service area, other available technologies are also used, allowing information to be stored in the browser in appropriate data stores (Session Storage, Local Storage), and fragments of analytical tool codes provided by other suppliers are placed, which enable cookies to be saved in the domains of these services.

    Below are descriptions of the individual cookie categories used in our Service:

    Technical cookies – are necessary for the Service website to function properly. They relate to the functionality of our websites and allow us to improve the services we offer through our websites, for example by enabling information to be transferred between pages of our website to avoid having to re-enter information, or recognizing User preferences when returning to our Service. We use them to:
    • ensure security;

    • maintain session when the User visits and logs into their customer account;

    • ensure proper page display – depending on what device the User is using;

    • adapt our services to User choices;

    • remember whether the User consents to displaying certain content.

    Analytical cookies – allow us to recognize and count the number of Users visiting our Service, see how visitors move around the Service when using it, and record which content they view and are interested in. This helps us determine how often pages and advertisements are visited and which areas of our Service are most popular. This enables us to improve our offered services, ensuring that our Users find the information they are looking for. They are also necessary to settle accounts with our Trusted Partners, measure the effectiveness of our marketing activities without identifying personal data.

    We use them to:
    • study statistics regarding traffic on the site and check traffic sources (redirection directions);

    • detect various types of abuse, e.g., artificial internet traffic (bots), DDoS attacks;

    • limit unwanted marketing activities;

    • measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns conducted for the Service, e.g., in the Google advertising network, in partner programs, on external websites;

    • settle accounts with Trusted Partners for advertising services based on user activity, e.g., clicks.

    Marketing cookies – are used when the User consents to this and only when the functionalities and forms of advertising applied by our Service require it.

    We use them to:
    • display ads that are relevant and interesting for a specific user. They concern profiling ads displayed both on external websites and on our Service site, according to users’ preferences in terms of product selection, based on data held by the Service, including user behavior in the Service.

    When entering the Service website, the User may not agree to the use of analytical and marketing cookies. In this case, we will not be able to conduct detailed statistics and adjust our advertisements based on information collected in our Service. However, general advertisements will still be displayed both on the Service website and on other websites.

    For advertising on the Internet, as well as for other tools such as Google reCAPTCHA (a tool for spam protection), we use technologies provided by Google and Meta (Facebook), so please note whether you consent to the use of these tools, including ad profiling on the Internet and Facebook.
